Are you running a resonator?
For some reason, there was somethign with the Beta that just drones at highway speeds on aftermarket mufflers. I tried the Turbo's, flowmaster, magnaflow (knockoff) and came back to the stock. I ran them on the stock resonator, and a longer cherrybomb resonator midpipe. Nothing helped. They were all noisy to me. With the intake, I really didn't lose much (if any) f the long term gain the bigger exhaust offered but I could drive it for hours on end and not be an issue. -------------------- Founding Member of the Indiana Chapter of the Teeny Weeny Club for Secure Adult Males

Yeah I have the stock resonator. I wasn't sure if replacing it with a cherry bomb style muffler (and keeping the Borla) would help. I love the tone, just not the VOLUME. I might end up doing that you did and just go back to stock. Ugh. -------------------- Music Teacher/Geek for life!! |

Magnaflow makes a decent resonator style muffler, but like all MF's they will burn out with time.
