T'was run by committee (non-democratic) for 10 yrs before Confederation, which some say was a sellout by Canada and Whitehall (UK Govt)
Since joining Canada, seen as the poor bastard-cousins.

Yes... this news makes me sad. Very sad. And here I was touting good ol' Dalton a couple weeks back.
