Does this mean that BSE should not be doing what it's doing (soliciting orders) or that YES.. they can do it, but it has not all been finalized through HARD as yet, so until HARD says yes..it's buyer beware?

Or is HARD just not gonna happen???

I think for the time being Hyundai isnt endorsing BSE untill they make it official. SOunds like Hyundai Doesnt like that bse is letting too much info out about this merger? I dont know but its sure does contradict what SED at XD is posting

basicly.. HARD parts is not launching as of yet.. BUT BSE has the products available like has been mentioned here.

Its Hyundai just covering their tails right now.

For instance... Locals can get the turbo's for $3700 installed (stage II)

I believe the big question would be is Hard going to launch. I mean after all this time and hard work Bill has done, it is a little scary to hear Hyundai has not even endorsed him yet.

I think they have to do that for liability reasons.

Just sucks that I've never seen one of these for Shark Racing, Evo-Fusion or any of the other compaines that have solicited business from dealers directly.


it would be nice to see a factory backed program..but it seems that Hyundai is just scared? to take that leap. I dont know. But I WILL be supporting Bill. Hes spent ALOT of time over the past 3 years on this.

I don't have money right now so I'm still a spectator in this. However, people have been talking about HARD for like years now it seems. It was supposed to happen a while ago, then didn't, now it looked closer, but it's not happening either.... Yeah, sure they have "liability," to work through, but the pencil-pushers here have to factor in customer frustration because this is just going to start pissing people off. If they were about to endorse BSE, they could've worded that "WARNING" a little nicer, no?

They probably could have... and three years ago they could have just kept the whole thing under wraps till it was actually ready. They have REALLY killed the buzz on this whole thing. I mean, we WANT it, but man its taking a long time.

I agree with you there. I mean the parts are still there, we just get them from BSE instead of HARD. Same parts, cheaper price and you will be purchasing straight from the manufacture. So is it safe to assume that even if Hyundai backs out of HARD, BSE will still be in the Hyundai aftermarket parts market?

But..but..but..the warranty (partial or whole) on the car is potentially jeoporadized if the parts are not sold and installed through HARD right?

I think the parts would sell better, if owners knew that Hyundai was going to back BSE and have a proper dealer network, I think they would be much more comfortable making the purchase.
