they had already addressed this by giving out free extended warranties and such; my sister got that for her Sonata but the Elantra's had not qualified since the difference between the claimed hp and actual hp was too small.

I applied for that a couple of years ago but my 02 GT didn't qualify for anything.
I guess do have 140HP ! Our 97 Elantra wagon got 2 years of roadside service as a bonus. I thought that program was dead and buried by now? CC
