Well between last night and today I took her on a 400 mile journey through southern NY. It was a good trip and everything went well except for the tail end of the trip, threw up the CEL. I'll be looking into that tomorrow. question.gif

do the napa golds perform up to oem standards? Also why are you going to get crushed so bad? you used to win all the time in your elantra didn't you? Your going to your usually place right? Grissom, I think it is. And also are you part of that garantee that valvoline has?

Napa Gold filters are reboxed Wix. As good if not better than OEM and the ONLY filter I will use other than OEM. I've been using Valvoline and Mobile 1 in this car since Day 1. I used Valvoline dyno oil until somewhere around 50 or 60k. And been on Full synthetics since.

Before I had the car. The guy used gtx. He changed it right before I got the car. Then I did a change with castrol syntec and a fram. then currently I got castrol edge and oem filter. thats the oil I'll stick to. I like it. I think I'm going to make a new thread about oil.
