Dayum... I'm not sure if I should be so impressed with his driving as the fact that he did it in a Suzuki, Daewoo, Chevy Lecetti.

Watched the 2nd clip from the 'related' ones and lots of contact Yeah, that's how it works with FWD... you want to try to transfer the weight onto the rear wheels so they settle down and get grip again. And I think they run the BTCC cars about like they play football (soccer) or rugby over there. -------------------- |

As someone who once tried to correct a bad slide by counter-steering and accelerating in an Elantra... it's not that easy. Basically I wasn't used to oversteer at all, freaked out and overestimated how badly it was sliding and over-corrected (too much power/steering) and snapped it back so fast it spun around the other way and effectively did a "Scandinavian Flick," right into a wall. Drifting around corners like that isn't something you should do for the first time on a wet two-lane road with construction barriers and no shoulder... it really doesn't work out.

Yeah, you kind of need to know when to end the correction, too. Practicing it in traffic isn't the best plan.
