It seems like I am making a new thread every day now. I've been working on getting my car back up to snuff, and I've realized that many performance parts for this car are no longer being manufactured so I am trying to buy things that I will need or want in the future in order to accomplish my goals with this car.
A few years ago, I purchased an intake that was meant for a 94-97 Honda Accord. For some reason, the intake just wouldn't fit my car. I am guessing it is because I have an XD2. Needless to say, it was never installed. I am thinking about buying this intake since it is designed specifically for my car. I do know that some ebay products are hit or miss, but this one looks good to me. Has anyone had any experience with this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Cold-Air-Int...l-v&vxp=mtr This post has been edited by Spectre: Apr 5 2016, 07:26 PM -------------------- 2004 Hyundai Elantra

The biggest thing with aftermarket intakes is MAKE SURE THE MAF SENSOR IS IN THE SAME LOCATION! It truly does make a big difference. Your 94-97 accord intake would have likely worked with some cutting, but as you said, having an XD2 was the difference. The XDs didn't have the MAF if I remember correctly. The one you linked to eBay should work. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to attempt to find someone who can get the Accord intake to work one more time. If it doesn't work, I'll buy this one.

there were 2 differnet types on the Accord intakes. There was the one piece and a 2 piece. 1pc don't fit. 2 pc take some fine tuning. (read BFH).
