I traded in my 93 Accord as a partial down payment (also it lowered my sales tax a little) for a 07 Jeep Compass Limited 4WD.
Sometime this week after the hurricance passes and its nice out I will get pics to change my 2nd car garage.

Just for anyones info at the dealership where I got this I tried (just out of my price range) was a mint 2006 Santa Fe GLS AWD w/ 29500 miles for $14900 (if someone goes mention Ron Dufault sent you) I wanted it cuz of being Hyundai and such low miles. Anchor Subaru on 146 in N. Smithfield, RI

Also does anyone know a good Jeep forum (good like this one) for me to get some info on my Compass.

here is a pic from the dealers site ( I dont like chrome but the wifey does, I will have to try to find some1 that has the aluminum ones to trade)

"I got your jeep thing and now it burns when i pee" Hahaha. Sorry man im just not a fan of jeeps at all. It looks nice in black. Oh and the "chrome" is a plastic cover over the wheels. Its fake chrome. But as long as your happy with it, my opinion doesn't matter.

slowgls - I pulled on them and the chrome is part of the rim unless they are glued on.
elantragt - thanx - just how they like diamonds, anything that shines and sparkles

Yes they should be glued on. A lot of car makers are doing that now.

P.s. don't mean to sound like a dick. Just not a fan of jeeps. I'm glad your happy with your new car. You got mod plans for it?

Jeeps look nice and congrats but JEEP = Just Empty Every Pocket.....

Creaks, noise, rattles, suspension issues - engine issues - not good at all.

Vinnie - I know about jeeps from working on cars and hope I have the one that wont give me issues. I put it on the lift at Sears Saturday and saw it had new KYB frt struts, both outer tie-rod and new brakes all around.

Mitch thanx will look into it, saw that one before when I was lloking up reviews and problems that people have written about.

nice that should last a while.

One thing I can say is parts are crazy accessible for jeeps and with that comes the aftermarket availability smile.gif

Working on the few I have was not not bad either - lots of room to do what you need to do.

Not a bad deal.
