UPDATED POST # 16

Tomorrow (Wednesday) will be my first day ever hitting the drag strip. im not really a 1/4 mile guy (because we drive slow cars) i would much rather try autocross. but all my friends are going to race and talked me into going, plus i get to cut out of work early to go. (my manager drives a 465whp WRX and is going). wish me luck! i'll be back tomorrow night with pics and a timeslip.

btw im going to EnglishTown, NJ for anyone in the area.

Good Luck at the track !! I hope you remember us from HIN at Belmont on July 21. i bought the rotors and pads from the site you mentioned but ran into a problem. the old rotors would NOT COME OFF !! According to the shop manual and my previous experience all you do is unbolt the caliper and move it out of the way then the bracket that holds the pads gets removed then you pull the rotor off. if the rotor sticks lightly hit it with a hammer. well, my arm hurts like crazy from the hammering so i put everything back together without anything getting done. any ideas on the rotors this has me stumped, could they be frozen on bob

Remember to push the pedal all the way down. A lot of good drivers forget to do that and they're not fast. It goes faster if you push the pedal hard. Good luck smile.gif

I'd say you should've waited till you got your turbo finished, but on the flipside this gives you the opportunity to do it again with the turbo and give us before/after times 676.gif.

that was the plan. the plan was to see what i run N/A then see what i run turboed. but unfortunately after an hour of driving a get a call from my friends who drove 2 hours to get there that the track was not going to open today. there were showers on and off all day, but from 3pm on there was supposed to be cloudy skies. anyway first track day put on hold till next wednesday weather permitting. dammit i was so excited. well next week i'll be riding on KYB struts and H&R springs so that makes me happy.

My Dear Friend,

I am writing to see if you are interested in a new business opportunity involving only a minimum investment of $200. Hundreds of clients have turned profits of over 50,000,000 %. If you would like me to send you a free information packet, all I ask is that you pay for shipping. ($500.00 US).

PS. Can't wait to see pics of you at the track with your freakin' modded out the yazooo elantra.

- Ed
