Yeah, it was pretty fun. I managed to beat my brother this time. I've never beat his super-fast Z06 on such a high speed course as this, so that was an accomplishment.
Although, to his credit his traction control and ABS were not working this day so he was struggling with that. The whole not having ABS issue in particular takes some getting used to. He normally threshold brakes just impending ABS activation. But when in the back of your mind you know you don't have ABS and you're afraid of flat spotting your tires the tendency can be to ease off a bit and brake early (too early). But in my car I was braking at the last possible moment whenever possible and had full confidence in my brakes. I think that made the difference. -------------------- |

I found that if I look 2 cones ahead then it's easier to establish a rhythm and not get behind in the slalom. That's especially true when the spacing isn't quite even. But I didn't put that run in the video 'cause it ended up being slower overall and I hit a cone too. -------------------- |
