Hey guys...I'm finally back after a few months of inactivity. I just moved to Rockport, Texas and we love it here. Weather is great (70's during day and hardly no rain), perfect weather for detailing. So after the encouragment of my family members and some people that I have never met before I am seriously looking into the business of detailing work. I have a house in the Country Club, and you are "not supposed to run a business out of your home" and no "signs or advertisements" are to me displayed on the property. So...I was thinking, I met the owner of a local self service and automatic car wash today, I wonder how I could do if I set up shop there...people wash their cars, come out I will chamois it down, and spray wax to a good shine, do rims, tires, running boards etc. and on their way. Let me know what you think about this idea and please let me know of any ideas you guys have or have good success/ experience in. Thanks for all of your help!

A mobile detailing business is good! use their driveways or garages! As long as you have shade you're alright!

Yes...I understand that, I have a selection of my own personal detailing supplies but of course more will be nessary. I am thinking about making fliers and putting it in doors of the houses in country club. Offer detailing at their house...let me know what you think.
Thanks --------- Oh yea...any good ideas for a buisness name? -------------------- |

A good investment might be one of those 10'x10' tents that you can put up over the car you are detailing. You can get a wall for one side, providing adequate shade. If you were to have it logo'd, people would see you at work and might look you up!

Get A Shine Mobile Detailing?
Like some have said... A tent is a good thought! Flyers is a good idea! Make yourself an internet site! Make sure you offer packages... Some people would only want one coat... some are freaks like us and would go for the whole thing... Get a good buffer! -------------------- 2017 Santa Fe Sport SE 2.4L AWD (mine)
