I did this many years ago at the old "main site" and the results were very positive. This is a multiple choice poll . Base your answers on real world expectations. Afterall, this is an inexpensive vehicle so be realistic.
How it works... There are 3 choices (satisfied, disappointed, very disappointed) in each of 5 categories... mechanical issues, paint & finish, performance, mileage and overall satisfaction. So this mean you need to choose one answer in all 5 categories to make this survey accurate. -------------------- |

Wow, so far everyone agrees! This car has been great for me in every way. My only disappointment is that I have gotten a bunch of rock chips and door dings, but that's not the car's fault!

Hey, my car is over 7 years old and I still love it. It's seen it's share of parking lot dings , snowstorms, hard driving etc... but it's a vehicle I still love taking out for a spin.

There were no "Very Satisfied" options. 116k hard driven miles, abuse and lots of time driven in anger. Has held up extremely well. April 15th will be 8 years for me with Porky.

Overall I'm a very satisfied with both cars, I am a little bit dissatisfied with mpg performance and tho I indicated 'satisfied' on the power and handling point I do wish for a little bit better handling but I realize the limitations of the design and purpose of the car so in effect I am satisfied with it's intent.

that last option was a little tricky for me. Since I got bent over hard with financing, with the amount I spent I should have a much better car... but taking a look at the actual price of the car and not the financing add-ons, I'm rather pleased with it.
Since I wasn't really expecting much more than a car to drive around to work that was more reliable than my 20yr old 'sports' car, this thing is doing great. I think almost all of the failures I've had have been related to something that I changed, and thus owner error.... except my leaky hatch and accident damage. -------------------- carPC Build Thread | My Elantra Site | My Fiero Site | My WebSite | Donate here to keep ElantraClub online and growing. |

It's been a great car, I really don't ask much of it and it always delivers if I do as long as I remember it's limits (which I do) -------------------- To Helena Handbasket! |
