This should give us an idea of what the next GT hatch will look like. It's much more sophisticated looking than the current gen. Great looking hatch. I love the interior!

Schwing!
Very nice. My only complaint, and this is with many auto manufacturers, is with the display. I wish you could get a version without that or, if you could shut them off or have them retract. And yes I realize I'm probably in the small margin of those polled who feel this way lol -------------------- To Helena Handbasket! |

What I like is how euro looking it is. Almost looks like the Peugeot 308 on some angles:

Hey-Popeye, the display on my Audi S7 retracts. Probably cost prohibitive on the new i30. I like the new i30's lines. They just get better and better.

I sail with popeye. I think the "screen" is a major detractor from the look of a car's dash.
I realize it's a way to control toys in a car but the majority of those functions are for music and GPS options. The switches and knobs for car functions were well within control. Cars' GPSs should be separate because when they break or need updating NO ONE wants to go through a dealer for that service. They tend to be annoyed clowns in the first place so broaching the subject of fixing a gadget or even ordering an updated disc angers them. All music can easily be on a phone and simply plugged in. Done that way, the car is cheaper. I want a car....not a toy holding platform. Kira -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Look a lot like a VW Golf GTI! Espacialy from the rear.....Not a big fan of the ''tablet type'' screen neither. For the rest, it's a
good loking car. Can't wait to see what engine will be available here in Canada... -------------------- A proud member of the club.

If I'm flying solo, I map my destination on the phone and think it through as best as I can prior to take-off and if I need an update I'll pull off or check at a stop light, and all my music is on the 128gb phone! And I prefer hard switches and knobs, I like the tactile aspect of knowing that the effort was completed. That said I would highly consider this car if i were looking. -------------------- To Helena Handbasket! |
