I purchased the 2003 GT for use as a commuter car as I was starting back to work. I had rented several Elantra's before and really felt at home in them which lead to the decision for the 2003 purchase.

I did some maintenance work on the car to insure it's reliability as many of the contracting jobs I do requires usage personal owned vehicle. The last position was a 4 month stint putting on some 600 to 1000 miles per week. Since the company paid GSA mileage rates, quite quickly the mileage paid for the car purchase.

I am now off contract so the Elantra is driven very little as I instead ride my bicycle for most of the needing running.

Tonight I need to take my grand son to his mothers place which is some 120 miles north of my home. Since I hadn't driven the car in close to two months, it was almost like re-acquainting with my wife. It was such a joy to drive. I'm still glad I put the new headset in which included bluetooth, mp3, . . .

Yes, the car is now 11 years old. In this area, the weather is dry, roads are not salted, although the road surfaces often are in needs of repair/resurfacing, the Elantra is still the great car I had dreamed it to be.

Yes, I like the looks of the new GT, but I don't feel it to be say $20k better than my 2003. So my "Honey Moon" still continues!

Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon.
