Hi all,

Ive been doing business with a guy named justin (referred by kirsty) who
imports parts from a Korean Hyundai warehouse at dirt cheap prices.

Ive brought a pair of factory stock foglights (dealer wanted $400+) i paid
$150 for them delivered. He Has put them on an ebay auction here

Also to cover a previous thread about an automatic antenna, he has them too,
(dealer price $280) his price is $85 delivered check it out here

(all aussie dollars)

You can also email him, hju30763@bigpond.net.au just let him know you heard
about him from Elantraclub and he will look after you.

That would only be $75.00 USD delivered internationally!! Has anyone confirmed/denied that the US Elantras do not have the plug run to the back yet?

Does this guy have a website or does he only deal on ebay?
Yellow_Elantra
No one has yet confirmed or denied that there is the plug for it i
reckon that there is a plug there, however if there is not then
it would be a matter of running 2 wires from the Head Unit.

I have made a DIY for an aftermarket antenna and emailed it to eGT
but he is yet to put it on the site. With this antenna it would be just
be a matter of bolting it in and pluging it in.

I think he is in the process of getting a website but he is a good suplier
that has dealt with myself and kirsty on this board.
RHINESEL
Looks like I'll have to take a look unless someone speaks up.

Have you noticed any difference in reception with the motorized antenna?
Yellow_Elantra
No i have not, however i replaced the aerial cable from the aerial to the
H/U at the time of installing the aerial. This made a huge difference
to the quality of the AM signal to the radio, minimal noise...etc

Yea its just about 4 plastic clips and the cover directly behind the
tail light, the plug is white and is about half way down the side behind
the trunk lining.
RHINESEL
Thanks, I'll look.
Seinster
Thank you very much for these links. I was shopping around for OEM fogs and dreamka4u quoted $125 USD so this is indeed very good news.

How did you wire it up though, and is it hard?
I really want to wire mine to the original fog light switch, and not have to worry about having parking lights or full headlights on at the same time.
Yellow_Elantra
When i organised my sale with him i asked for the plugs with half a
meter of wiring on them, it looks like he has ordered a few with the
same wiring.

What i was going to do was to get the swich wire off the factory on
dash fog light swich and running it through the firewall to a relay and
wireing the fogs up to them.
Kirsty
Glad to know you are enjoying Justin....he supplied and sprayed my spoiler for me...I recommend him highly to anyone!!! I am still trying to hit him up for some Elantra club discounts wink.gif

I was thinking of finding out whether anyone wants anything in particular and we can hit Justin up for a group buy, what do you guys think??
MOJO85
Sounds like a good plan there Kirst, as long as he is a reputable seller ( he sounds like he is )

I'm sure we could get some common interest floatin around here..!
CyberGecco
On my 05 at least, there MAY be a plug for the auto antenna. Its too far from where the base is, right now, to be right, but it MIGHT unfold from its hiding position into place...I'll try to check in there more, and post a pic of the connector here.

He sure is reputable, i got my fogs on friday, he sent them via next day
delivery. They fitted in gr8 and they look awesome thumbsup.gif

Also for CyberGecco:
here is a pic of roughly where the plug should be. the plug is taped to the
wiring about half way to 2/3 of the way down it.

Do you think we have it in the US like YellowElantra did in the Aussie spec XD?
RHINESEL
I have my fingers crossed! I was going to pull my car into the garage during my day off but the storm came and dumped a foot of snow on it.
Seinster
Just wanted to thank you Ben for linking us up with Justin.
He was really friendly, great with communications, and delivered on time with no hassles.

No worries mate, yea he really is a nice guy.
What did you get off him? was it the fog lights?

Im trying to get more stuff off him now, he can sell me a Multifunction swich
with the fog light swich on it for $40 + postage..... the only thing is that there
is 14 different types of multifunction swiches for RHD Elantras.

Does anybody know where i can find part numbers with descriptions? or a part
number for the M/F switch for the Elite? I have emailed a few dealers for just
part numbers, but i dont know if they would part with those numbers if i have no
intention of buying one off them.

Im also thinking about getting a grille off him too, i have taken mine off to do
some custom work to, but ive started on it and i dont have the time for it now.
so i was thinking of getting the one below to use untill i finish the custom work,
that could take a year the way im going. Im just waiting for a price on it at the
moment.

Ill be going to the dealers next week Ben, did you want me to get the part number for the m/f for my Elite?

they can look it up because of my VIN number....
Seinster
Yes I ordered the fog lights. smile.gif
I'm going to be working on my grill this summer as well, haven't started yet though.

*Scratches head*
Why do you need a multifunction switch when we've got a fog light switch?

(thanks for pic Dean)

Yea ive got my fogs in and working off that switch, but the thing is everytime
you use it the rears are on aswell, and also every time you use it you have to
keep turning it on. with a multifunction swich with the fog swich, it can stay in
the "on" position permanatly and turn on at the same time you turn the headlights
on whilst still having the option to turn them off independantly.

And for $40 why not???? tongue.gif

So what's the find on the plug for the OEM antenna? I have an 05 hatch and would ask for this for my birthday if it's a "no brainer" plug and play kind of thingy. Anybody?

Ben, I've PM'ed you with the pics you were after...
RHINESEL
I've wanted to look but we've had some snow up here and my wife gets the garage. I'll get around to looking, someday.
