He passed away back on May 10, 2012
Mustangs and Ford were forever changed for the better thanks to him!

I seen this the other day on a news site. It's a shame. Carroll changed the way things were done and made good vehicles great. He will be missed by many but the engines will live on. I hope the industry makes an anniversary or a tribute to Mr Carroll. That would be the only respectable thing to do.
