Well, this is a rarity... me posting about a mod. Lack of money and my wife's health issues have put an end to mod "career".

But this one was out of necessity. The clearcoat on my Forte's door handles has been peeling off and it was looking like crap. Might have been my fault considering I haven't detailed the car in like forever. The Kia paint warranty is only 3 years so I was probably SOL on that so...

I ordered a set of carbon fiber look door handle covers off Ebay and they not only covered the defects but look sporty and compliment the cars DiNoc carbon fiber door pillars.

What year is yours? My '10 still looks good on the handles and I've waxed it once in the 38k miles and 2 years I've put on it (53k on the car).
