I know you've heard me complain a ton that Hyundai should have brought over the i30 hatch versus the wagon that we got. On the other hand, Kia has the similar Cee'd that was not brought to the US and, in particular, the hot looking Pro Cee'd (I think it has a little bit of the Veloster look from the side).

The Pro Cee'd might have done very well with the first time car buyer and tuner crowd. Why wasn't this brought over?

Here's the car's factory look:

Here's the stock interior:

Here it is with a lip kit:

That's a sweet looking ride. What was Kia thinking. Especially considering Hyundai said they were going to make Kia the division of youthful and sporty...

Hmmmm.

I doubt it. This has been out since the '08 models.

It looks nice, considering it has been around since 08! It looks like it would be a good seller over here and it has alot sharper look then a mazda three.

What motor is in this car?

They probably made a choice of either second generation of the I30 or the new Forte. They must be really happy with the Forte. 533.gif

I agree, it is a nice looking car.

It may not necessarily be Kia's fault.

Ever stop to think that maybe there's a US safety standard that is keeping it from being sold here? It has happened before...

But yes, this is a snazzy ride. Kia has been pretty edgy lately. I like what they've been brewing lately.

BTW, it was designed in Germany, and it's manufactured in Slovakia. Strictly a European car (except for export to Iran).

that is a really sweet looking hatch. I'd love to see these in a Rwd 6spd turbo 4 cyl.
