As you all know, we're coming to the end of our donation drive. This is the only drive that Mitch (elantragt) will put on this year, and it's the only thing that's going to keep this site online. It costs some serious coin to keep this site up and running with all the cool features it has, and Mitch has kept it going so that we *all* can benefit from it.

A lot of you come to find this place the way I did: something goes wrong with your car and you're looking for advice on how to fix it. If you go about it the right way, you start exploring this site and what it has to offer even after you get your question(s) answered. And this place has some interesting things: a map of locations of members, product reviews (should I really try that wax? Let's find out), blogs (come check out my blog, even though it needs to be updated badly), and that doesn't even include the stuff you get as a VIP. There's over 1600(!) games in the arcade, there's a chat feature... more than I can easily name here.

So, maybe you came here wondering if you should do your own oil changes (if you have someplace to do them, yes). Then you find out about using OEM filters and maybe find a good recommendation for an oil to use and you save $5 on your first DIY oil change. Why not pay it forward? Your findings will certainly save you money down the road, so give something back to the Club that made it possible. Every penny goes to keeping this site online. No donation is too small.

Help out the next person by returning the help you got. Thanks.

And then you find yourself modifying the car to high heaven laugh.gif

Shortly after I first came here, I sought information on fixing my car's clock. The club came through for me and that was $264 (!) I didn't have to spend. For that and other things, I feel my donation dollars were well spent.

and then I found 5 bucks!
