Hey guys, I have an intro thread going on here but I thought I would make a new one to show the mods I have done.
The car in question is an '07 stone black HD Elantra SX sedan.

It was a new car I purchased last year, and was equipped with a bodykit and 17" Hyundai Alloy wheels.
A real eye catching car, hence why I bought it!
The car went for the first 7months of its life with the only mods being painted brake calipers. It was my now ex wifes car. Lets just say she didn't take the best of care of it. So, in our split I took it back (I am paying for it!) and decided to start making it a bit better!

Here it was in the Dealer's showroom:

And this is after I got the dealer to tint the windows:

A short time later I bought a set of lower coil springs for it...lowered the car 30mm.

And then, a bit after that the calipers were painted, it was my then wife's choice of colour...

And that is the way the car stayed....until I got it..hehe

Once I got the car...the first thing I did was to swap out the 17's for a set of 18's.

I also ordered a new Roadruns grille too, I have yet to receive that part.

While I was ordering parts, I secured a set of LED tail lights and some black bezel headlights too:

The Headlights are also fitted with a Bosch HID conversion kit as well.

The interior didn't miss out, I fitted a new Pioneer in dash 6 disc DVD unit, with 7" touchscreen. It doesn't quite fit the OEM cutout, so I have a new Double Din mounting kit on its way from the US as well.

Yesterday I decided to pull the stock headlights apart, and I ordered a new set of LED front indicators for them, while they are apart I sprayed the bezels black. Here in Australia the headlight are a little different, in that out "parker" globes are in the bottom of the main light reflector. I wanted to keep that feature, a feature the new lights I bought do not have. So, when they are done I will probably sell off the black ones I have now.

So, that is it for the moment, I will update here with new stuff that gets done!

This weekend I will be repainting the calipers and disc hats, so I'll post that up when it is done.

SMOOTHER IS BETTER!! -True words of member EGT4ME

There's no such thing as a "perfect car". All cars are good for a period of time. Then they either break down or just get boring, and you want something else.

It's like chicks. No matter how hot she looks, always remember....there's some guy out there who's sick of her sh!t.

We don't get those 17" alloys here in the US I think, and they look great! I bet some people would be interested. Some people with '07's I mean, not us four-bolters. smile.gif
