Still kicking the idea of putting 18s on my 12 white Elantra GLS. Like the look of the XXR 555 chromium black with machined lips. Looks like they're 18x8.5 +35 or +25 offsets. Just wondering if that 8.5" width is too much to fit since it's 1.5" wider than the standard 17" rim. Anybody with 18x8.5s?

Those offsets are really low. The stock MD gen wheels are something like +53 and combined with the 8.5" rims it seems to me it's gonna be a big problem.

I wouldn't chance it but maybe someone else will chime in.

Dont think they will. To wide first, and to low of an offset. That for a rwd car.

My mistake! For some reason I thought the offset was +35 and not +53. Must've switched the numbers in my mind somehow. Thanks for setting me straight!

A 40ish should be just about perfect.

Maybe the Enkei EV5 in hyperblack would fit better. 18x7.5 +45 offset. Those offsets always confuse me. Not used to aftermarket wheels.
