The intake could be coaking the flow at thus point. I don't think so. Even the nice Airram intake manifold that's made for high rpm power, only makes a couple hp over the stock intake on an NA build. Yeah I was hoping for more. On another forum there's a guy with the same mods making 151whp. And plenty others making more power than me with less. -------------------- 2000 Elantra

I'd keep playing with the tuning and I bet you'll find the power you're lacking.
3rd is closest to 1:1 in the 'box? -------------------- |

I guess he thought the engine would blow up during the 35 minute 4th gear pull. I'll going to figure it out, there's power hiding somewhere. Lol -------------------- 2000 Elantra

Lol yeah. The 3rd gear pull feels almost that long when there are 50 people pointing and laughing at me for bringing an Elantra to a dyno.
EDIT Sorry for that outburst. -------------------- 2000 Elantra

Lol at my previous post about how much better it ran after the install. I guess the gains were only psychological. Perhaps due to driving my slow ass S10 for three weeks while my car was torn apart. Then I drive the Elantra and "omg racecar!!!..." haha
I am disappointed about the lack of gains, but whatever, $#!^ happens. Anyway, I guess the next thing i'm going to do is replace the 2" crush bent exhaust and see if it helps at all. Here are a couple videos: Shifting way to soon, but whatever. -------------------- 2000 Elantra
