I have that done here in Europe and it adds me 3 Kw and 10Nm (1.6 engine, checked on dyno) - buut I had it for just 130 bucks. Honestly said, If you wanna have a freaking road-crusher get some V6 engine with at least 250hp

Back in Puerto Rico I had a 2010 Lancer and the Dyno Shops were doing Reflashes and they were getting up to 30hp and around 25% fuel economy. Most of them charged you $250 but that include the dyno tune. Check this post from carrito.net: http://www.carrito.net/board/showthread.ph...ghlight=reflash Is in Spanish so you will have to translate Too bad we don't have Mitzus. This is Hyundai. They are not Honda/Mitsubishi/Toyota. You want their tunability, go buy one. -------------------- Founding Member of the Indiana Chapter of the Teeny Weeny Club for Secure Adult Males

Maybe if you guys asked Poweraxel they might consider it. Remember it is all about demand.
I submitted a message to PowerAxel through the Genesis board...lets see what they say. This post has been edited by Awesome3.8: Sep 24 2012, 09:51 PM -------------------- A proud member of the club.

We have been working on this forever. My new partner is just helping me to finish up on the 2006 Rio, because I have one. But we have found over 20ft lbs of torque on the low end and about 9 hp on the top end on the 1.6. The beta has a better opportunity and it will be our next project.
We are going through the preliminary stages of this project and should have results in about 4-5 weeks. Bill KFX -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Here are my last 2 runs
This one shows the solid blue line as the torque and some nice increases on the lower RPM ranges. This really lets us see the differences and you can certainly feel the change. There is a nice stead increase in HP. There is an issue at the top end and we identified that with a faulty MAF sensor and a broken wire. I was able to fix that and this next picture will show the latest. This one has some wavy something going on in the curves, I have to replace one of the axles, issues left over from my turbo days and I will correct it. I did this run to get final numbers on the afr which is still running rich, but has some excellent improvements. Overall torque has only increased 8 ft lbs but almost 18 in the lower rpm ranges up to 4400 rpms. My final run will work on air fuel changes and the axle. I am expecting to be around 120hp at the wheels and up to 115 ft lbs of torque. In the two curves, dotted is stock and modified is solid. Also note that these results are on a Mustang dyno. This often relates a 7 to 10% variance to other brands of dynos I will have more later this week. Bill -------------------- A proud member of the club.
