Good for the City drivers! This is more for Europe... The gas prices there are insane. I would drive that WAYYYY before a Toyota Echo Hatch.

I don't think it's so bad - I would rather have that than an Accent. And MUCH better looking than an aveo.

What's with that little tail light on the lower left bumper? Weird.

I saw a television program from Britan where they took a dozen economy cars, and picked their favorite - the Hyundai Getz was the winner.

I'm with Gearcat, I kinda like it and if I was looking for that size of a car (which I could never fit INTO) than I think it would be a good buy. And for 74mpg I would be first in line!

it'll Getz you where you goin'.

rofl.gif

At least it has a tail pipe, almost in the middle,
better than the Elantras.

Ohhh, We've got the Hyundai Getz here in Australia!

The single rear fog light is usally on the side the drivers side, so here its on the Right hand side.

Their is no comparison between the Aveo and Getz... Getz is a solid well made car, Aveo is just rubbish...Getz has won heaps of awards. including, most economical and Australia's best all round small car.

I'd have to say it is the best small car Hyundai has ever made. It got a better build quality than the Toyota Echo and the interior is very solid with all the plastics having that nice expensive Japanese look to them.

Here in australia they recently changed the gear ratios of the 1.5litre for the Getz to have better performance, and at the same time fuel consumption dropped as well.

These are usually the loan cars Hyundai gives you when yours is getting serviced. They have a fair bit of punch for a small car. The dash layout is awesome!

Their was recently a limited edition of the Getz downunder which had yellow cloth faced seats, sunroof, 14' Alloys, ABS, Carbon Fibre look Fasica and $1,000 free fuel for only $15,690AU ($12,049USD) (manual) ... Bargain!

The pricing for these in Australia is : $13,490 ($10,359USD) for the 3DR XL 1.3 (currently with free automatic), $13,990 ($10,744USD) for the 3DR GL 1.5 (manual) and the 5DR 1.5 GL is $15,490 ($11,896USD) (manual)

Keep in mind an Elantra GT over here is $17,661USD (manual)
