In the time it takes you to read these first 12 words, the cars in our test would’ve surpassed the pace of a mile a minute—60 mph—from a dead stop.
Check your watch now, and they’re well beyond 100 mph and fading fast from view. Granted, if you strapped a rocket to a grocery cart, you might be able to achieve a similar effect, but these are real, live production cars that real, live (lucky) people can drive on regular roads…legally.

The Ariel Atom is legal, I've seen it on the streets. However, it may have some special designation, because I doubt it would pass the NHTSA's tests.

My son and I raced our Bugatti Veyron last year and did not do as well as the one in the video. We did have fun though.
