My only suggestion on running the touring rims in winter conditions is to clean and wax them frequently. I ran them through some early season slop last year and the deicer they use here was already pitting and staining the chrome inserts- which are plastic btw.

Oh... so those are chrome plated eh? Shit... I was hoping they weren't.
I've heard that waxing works well. I'm so lazy about detailing lately, but think that I'm going to have to at a minimum do this... -------------------- A proud member of the club.
