Well the "marshmellow" (97 Elantra Wagon) finally bit the dust.

The brakes blew a line and that was just the last thing, too many things to fix.

So, it got replaced by a Silver 2010 Accent 3-door.

Great little car, as many features as my 02 GT, just less space in the rear.

She who owns the Silver Bullit is quite happy now, no more groans, squeeks and rattles.

We will see if the Accent is as durable as the Elantra, in about 10 years!

Hey Allan,

Nice to see you again! What a good run with the wagon!

Hope the Accent you got is better on gas than ours. It does start to rattle a bit after 10K but nothing to bitch and complain about. We have the Sport model, that could be why! Every bump is quite hard with that one but dang it handles!

Tip for ya... Do not drive above 100KM/H, if you do, it will drink like a hummer, or close to it anyway! laugh.gif
