I heard this Friday on the radio that gas prices were going to go up some 20+ cents per gallon. Not sure over what time, but I did see a jump of 7 cents. I suspect the prices will go up some more in the short future and you may want to fill up now before it does.

My cheap stations I go to went up by 2 cents. Just filled up at $1.71.

I read that same report online today ( except the one I read said $0.24 and by the end of next week)

And right now we are about $1.80 (Full serve, No Self-serve in NJ) for regular in So. Jersey.

That is high!!. When gas is $2.00 a gallon here, I stop driving as much (I'm figuring $.93 L is about $3.52 a gallon). angry-hitselfonhead.gif angry-cursing2.gif

Here in SW PA, self serve regular unleaded is $1.96, at least for today. Of course, that includes the AUTOMATIC annual January 1 gasoline tax increase that our wonderful state wrote into law some years ago. Doesn't need a yearly vote by the legislature, no action by the governor required, it just happens. They say it is to improve the condition of the roads. Yeah... mad.gif

As of 3-6-05 our cheapest gas in town ARCO (ethanol loaded! ewww) is 2.09 a gallon. and for Cheveron and 76 Fuel its 2.11 for 87 octane.

Ohh also Oregon is a state that DOES NOT let you pump your own gas. so they charge an extra tax on for that. IT SUCKS! I hate not pumping my own gas!

Call me nutz but for peice of mind i only put plus or premi in my ride. I know im crazy but I love knowing i got good fuel from Cheveron or 76.

Local Exxon has jumped up to $1.99 while I fueled up at $1.89 with Kroger card across the street. Prices are probably going to go up again, so fill up! But I guess that almost goes without saying. It's just going to keep shooting up til late fall, right!?
