as far as i know ive never seen a GT without one. same with the accent hatch, and veloster. the hatch cover should be STANDARD.

i was just at my dealer earlier trolling for a '16 VT and all the elantra GT had a cover behind the rear seats.

Could he be talking about the cargo tray? I've bought a used car without the cargo cover, but it's standard equipment for a new car. The cargo tray is an accessory option.

The dealer ended up giving me one because of the problem with my bumper but it was not new. They said not all of them come with it. I really hate how dealers tell u stuff like that. One guy even told me it didnt have to hooks for it when it clearly does. I like the car but sometimes i feel like i have regrets because of the sales people

the spare tire cardboard / felt cover is standard. the rubber tray that goes over it, is optional. my '12 came with the rubber tray, it velcro'd to the rear seats. the '14 did not come with it.
