I spoke to one of those "gods" once and he told me he used AIO as a cleaner function not so much as a polish(all depends on where U use it in your procedure) The only reason he claimed one should use more than one layer of AIO is to do three things....clean, clean, clean your paint/clear.

QUOTE (Mia_D @ Jan 8 2006, 07:40 AM) I spoke to one of those "gods" once and he told me he used AIO as a cleaner function not so much as a polish(all depends on where U use it in your procedure) The only reason he claimed one should use more than one layer of AIO is to do three things....clean, clean, clean your paint/clear. Yes he is right to some point! But AIO does polish at the same time! So tell the guy that! It Polishes, Cleans and Protects! Damn, it's written on the freakin bottle! He might be getting mixed up with polish & swirl remover. Polishing does not always remove swirls (some say they do but they are minimal), it preps the surface. Also, tell him to visit DetailCity.com! He'll get the scoop on all those products! Where to use it in the procedure? Mia, there is no other way to use it... It should be the first item you apply before waxing! Paint preperation! Tell the guy also it just doesn't clean... It protects and protects very well! Of course there are other steps you can apply before, like claying. Sorry, I don't like seing bad info being said on products that are praised and vastly used due to their polishing, cleaning and protection capabilities. QUOTE The foundation of the Klasse line is All-In-One. This is a true one-step product. It cleans, polishes and protects in one easy step. The cleaner in All-In-One removes existing wax, road films, light oxidation and visually reduces swirls. It accomplishes this by rounding over the top edge of the swirl robbing sunlight of a sharp edge to cause a reflection. It absolutely will not remove paint or clear coat finish. The polish in All-In-One creates a smooth surface to improve surface gloss. Lastly the acrylic protectant in All-In-One creates an extremely tough, mirror-like barrier that lasts for months. It polishes to a wet-look shine and locks into the paint, sealing and protecting with an elastic non-chip, shrink-proof, heat and scratch resistant finish. Provides excellent protection against salt water, sun, industrial pollutants and corrosive elements.

Wow, Interesting reading.!
Does anyone know if different colour paints react to different waxes and sealants? For example my 03 EGT is silver while my new 06 Sonata is Ebony Black. I havent really done a ghood job on the Elantra other than DIY car washes. However i would like to do a better job on the Sonata especially since black loks very nice when clean and polished. I asked the dealer to put on a paint sealer since the weather in Norhtern Ontario is really bad this time of year. -------------------- A proud member of the club, a proud Canadian, and proud to drive a Sonata!

Well my friend! You're in good hands here!
Where in N-Ontario are you? You should update your panel info! Klasse AIO is great on everything! Dark and light colours! You have to take into consideration that dark colours will reflect more than light colours... AIO will be a killer on black! So what I would do for your black Sonata! AIO, EX or EX-P Sealant! You will need to probably clay before applying those products. If you want a one step product... Meguiars NXT Paste wax! All those will also be great on light colours! If you can wait until april, Poorboy's will have a Polish with Sealant out! Let me know what you want to do... How much time and money you have! -------------------- 2017 Santa Fe Sport SE 2.4L AWD (mine)
