Talk to me about them. Are they worth it? What are the benefit for adjusting the timing? Being close to stock what would the gains be? Fidanza makes them for the beta2.

Not worth it imo. Yes you can gain a few hp up top but you will lose low end torque, or vise versa. I doubt you will see worthwhile gains.

I'd be very interested to see the results of those gears. I suppose stage cams are not available for these cars?

Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon.

How does it weigh several pounds lighter than something that only weighs 1lb to begin with? lol

Stock timing gear: 16oz

OBX adj timing gear: 14.4oz

my gear was wrought iron and weighed at least 5 lbs.. no way possible it was only 1 lb

on a fully bolted 2.0 ? gains are probably negligible. i would get one if you had a supercharger. or turbo.

well they used to be seen for $50 or less... so with the old standard or $50 per 1 hp.. it would be worth the bling. biggrin.gif
