Hey guys. This is my first post here...

I have a 2012 Touring GLS. I also have three large dogs who occasionally ride in the car, which leaves hair everywhere. Dog hair is also brought in to the car from my families' shoes.

Anyhow, the carpet in my Elantra Touring holds on to the hair and just won't let go! No amount of vacuuming can get it all up.

Does anyone else have this issue? Are there any good solutions for the trunk area....like a nice matt or something?

Thanks!

Hello and welcome!

I find a lint roller is very effective for removing dog hair.

Check out WeatherTech from the ECMall (top banner). They make custom floor trays and cargo trays to protect your carpet. I also think there are OEM Hyundai rubber mats (in many of the newer models) which could be some added protection.

The weather tech mats will make it easier but you will have to vacuum the car more often.

this might seem crazy... but i found rubbing a damp towel on carpets before vacuuming seems to discharge the static cling.. then vacuum with shop vac or other wet/dry vac...

or if u dont mind the look... cover everything they touch with a removable sheet and just toss in laundry evryso often

Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon.

A soft bristle dog brush does wonders at getting the hair out of vehicles carpets. Very quick and easy. I was pounding my head against a wall trying to vacuum the dog hair out of my wife's carpets in her prior van and decided to give that a try. A few minutes later, there was no hair left!
