Looks good. It's a generic design, which is fine for the target market. No odd rear end like the Prius or new Civic. Interior looks comfortable and well-appointed. It will get knocks for being boring in design, but it's not meant to be a stunner. It's a car that your mom will love driving around down and you can take it cross-country on a few tanks. I hear that there will be a PHEV variant, which would be great. If they price it nicely below the Prius, they will have a winner.

Theres quite a bit of conversation over on the Prius Forums about this one. The tailgate is prius like with the split glass hatch.

My thought when I looked at the first picture was that it looked a lot like a Civic. The interior looks pretty nice, though. You're right, Roy; if they can undercut Toyota on the price, they'll be in like Flynn.
