The Veloster Rally is cool but the upkeep on the matte paint seems like a real pain.

Looks like the Elantra's brother from another mother (the Forte) will have a late arriving 2017 turbo Sport sedan of their own.

I'm not overly impressed. I guess it's my muscle car past. The benefits these cars have is tuning in the suspensions, braking, etc. Makes it easy for the ricers to play house. I'll take a stock '86 or '87 Mustang GT with a 5 speed (200/225 HP). It might be a little squirrely in the rear end with all the torque but it was one hell of a car to drive. I could make you crap your pants in that car. Now if you want real fun, we could go for a ride in my '79 Z28 that lifts the front wheels off the ground when it launches....definitely not stock.

The Veloster Rally is cool but the upkeep on the matte paint seems like a real pain. not to be a downer but if it's like the rest of the newer Hyundai-Kia paint jobs, it'll start coming off in about 5 years anyway. Whereas my 2000 model the clear coat just now started peeling on the top of the front bumper cover. -------------------- 2000 Elantra
