The intake could be coaking the flow at thus point.

I don't think so. Even the nice Airram intake manifold that's made for high rpm power, only makes a couple hp over the stock intake on an NA build.

Yeah I was hoping for more. On another forum there's a guy with the same mods making 151whp. And plenty others making more power than me with less.

I'd keep playing with the tuning and I bet you'll find the power you're lacking.

3rd is closest to 1:1 in the 'box?

4th is closest, 1.04. The dyno owner refused to run it in 4th. I guess he thought the engine would blow up during the 35 minute 4th gear pull.

I'll going to figure it out, there's power hiding somewhere. Lol

Please tell me you're being facetious... 35 minutes?! tongue.gif biggrin.gif laugh.gif If it's as open as you claim, it should pull no problem...

Lol yeah. The 3rd gear pull feels almost that long when there are 50 people pointing and laughing at me for bringing an Elantra to a dyno.

EDIT
Sorry for that outburst.

Lol at my previous post about how much better it ran after the install. I guess the gains were only psychological. Perhaps due to driving my slow ass S10 for three weeks while my car was torn apart. Then I drive the Elantra and "omg racecar!!!..." haha

I am disappointed about the lack of gains, but whatever, $#!^ happens.

Anyway, I guess the next thing i'm going to do is replace the 2" crush bent exhaust and see if it helps at all.

Here are a couple videos:

Shifting way to soon, but whatever.
