2200@ 70? that is awesome! I'm goingto guess the new Nu makes more torque in that rev range than the Beta's or they wouldn't be able to gear it that low.

Huh? Didn't think it hit dealers yet, and it's not on Hyundai corporate's website.

*EDIT* I could be wrong, and apologize if I am. We still need to see pics.

To the OP: Sorry for doubting you. Congrats!

Maybe I should get one of these rather than the Sonata....much cheaper for the same trim and better MPG.

Tires may be a little low on air. Look at the door/trunk sticker, see what it says for PSI. Then, look at the tires for max sidewall PSI - split the difference, and pump them to that level. It'll also have the effect of firming up the ride feel as well. So will time - as the releasing compound works out of the rubber, they'll stiffen up - it'll happen gradually over the first 1000 miles or so, but can be accelerated a little by washing the tires.

Awesome yo I'm glad you like the car, but sucks that you have an issue already. sad.gif When my HD came it had 35 PSI in the tires, which is 3 over the 32 on the sticker.

Does the MD still ship in from Korea?

MD is built in Alabama!!

I'm with Bob on thinking it's that little black box/fuse thingy that they put in backwards to prevent electrical drain while in transport... though. Not sure if they've changed that since it's only shipping "locally".

Congrats on the purchase, can't wait till they're available north of the border... wonder what we'll get different... smile.gif

May have found the issue... On the fuse panel under the steering wheel, there is a toggle switch set on the off position. I just flipped it to the on position about 20 minutes ago, and I'm going to see if that does anything in another 30 to 40 minutes. It has consistently reset the electronics and disabled the key fob after 30 minutes or so, so I'll know pretty quick if that was it. Makes sense having a time delay switch that kills power for shipping purposes, that would still allow you to operate the car if you needed to. Crossing fingers!

Me too! You guys idea about having a switch or jumper got me looking around for anything out of the ordinary, and I'd imagine all switches on a car that was meant to run should be on the 'on' position. wink.gif if I'm wrong I guess I'll be eating those words...

Sounds logical to me.

Problem solved! Nothing wrong with the car, I guess the dealership (who said they had no clue what I was talking about) or factory forgot to switch it to the 'on' position. Now to figure out where to mount the nitrous bottle... wink.gif
