Nah, I wasn't going to protect it at all, it's very heavy duty and the bars and plates are thick as heck. Though I thought that your mesh would maybe keep the bugs and little rocks out of the core biggrin.gif

The 2006 is a carryover and the kits for the 04-05 models will work perfectly.

But.... all the mesh I can find anymore is about 1/2 or less thickness of the mesh I was using when I started making the kits.

I don't like it.

I'm still on the lookout for a decent supply of "the good stuff".
