Just curious if anyone else watched the japanese grand prix this past weekend? IMO this was one of the best F1 races in a long time. So many things to talk about but I think the most important is the fact that Raikkonen started dead last and won with a pass on the final lap. Alonso may be world champion but he is not the best driver out there ninja.gif . After watching this race, I truly believe that Kimi Raikkonen is the best driver in F1 at this moment 676.gif . to bad he just didn't have the "equipment" to back him up this year twak.gif .

Without a doubt the JGP was one of the best races in recent memory thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif Can't remember the last time I've seen so much aggressive passing biggrin.gif Still can't believe how Button managed to fail once again to win his first GP though; but ya, Raikonnen was something else.. If only.... oh wells, there's always next year.. Go McLaren Merc fahr04.gif

There are lots of good F1 pilots out there, but if they have shitty cars, they won't do much. Look at Ferarri this year? Just to prove the point! I'm happy for both Kimi and Alonso this year! thumbsup.gif

That race was so fun to watch!

A frenzy of a start, lots of passing, a few minor 'incidents', who's-gonna-get-out-first pit action, Alonso having to let Klien pass him TWICE after the missed chicane, .... and of course Kimi coming from dead-last for the win.

What if Montoya was still in it at the end?

Fisichella captured my attention when he was with Jordan as a decent driver needing a batter car and some nurturing, but there has been a change in him this year ... a calm Italian?? I was excited when he won the first race, but...

Kimi is an incredible driver with an incredible, but unreliable car. Remember how close he was to winning the drivers championship in 2003?

If Montoya had finished i have no doubt that he would have been on the podium. Althought this race was the strongest that the Renault has been all year.

Fisi did have a good race but what do you do when the "ice man" is breathing down your back. He does have alot of talent although this year for him has been plagued with bad luck and some driver error.

What about Button. IMO he needs to stop talkin shit and show some results. Some one please refresh my memory. Did he pay 30 million to williams to get out of his contract or did williams pay him off so that he wouldn't go to them.

Don't forget about Red Bull. I think that this was their best race this season. Congrats to them for a job well done in their rookie season. Take that Ford.
