Hi, We all know the dealer chargers an arm and a leg for labor, so if I do some of the easier maintenance items such as changing the cabin air filter or engine air filter, will it void the warranty? If not, do I have to keep the receipts? Thanks.

Nope you will be fine. I always do all my own work. The stuff i cant do , like tires or tranny replacement i take to a buddy to do the work. I try to stay way from the dealer at all cost. As long as you keep receipt, you should be fine.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I do some of my own work, I want to stick with "genuine Hyundai" parts. Where is the best place to get stuff like Hyundai air filters? The local autozone?

Dealer, amazon, or ebay. If you go online you can use are mall so the club can get credit for the sale.

It would not void it. Unless of course you broke the glove box trying to get to your cabin filter. Don't expect them to cover that. But I change my own filters.
