ElantraClub - For Elantra Owners and Enthusiasts _ The West _ ANYBODY FROM!?!?!?!?

Posted by: Shadowhawk Jan 6 2010, 04:41 PM

I hate being the only Alaskan on the forums. Believe it or not, there are an ass ton of Elantras in Anchorage. I just don't know how to advertise that there is a saweet community out there that can help them on issues. Anyone have any ideas? or know of anyone who has an Elantra that would like to form a meet? This would be cool. I'm kind of losing interest in my Elantra sadly and need some motivation lol....

Contact sarge about the etched glass decals. You could put a couple on your car and boom, instant advertising.

if you see some one getting out of their elantra in a parking lot walk over and talk to them about the car and the club

I like the way you work. I've got lots of decals to send around...

you could also make up a little business card to place in their doorframe (people ignore the stuff in their wipers I find)

Well I'm not from Anchorage, but I do have some family up there (my dad's 2nd cousin and his family). One of my all-time favorite trips was our trip to Alaska. I wouldn't want to live up there (sorry not a winter person) but visiting Alaska in August was just absolutely breathtaking. I dream about the day I get to go back there.

As far as drumming up interest. You could go way out and speak with your local Hyundai dealership about whether you could set up a meet and greet. Have them advertise it, get a BBQ going, and have them mail out flyers to all their previous customers to invite them in to check out the new models as well as meet up with fellow Hyundai enthsiasts. Then you could pass out EC flyers/business cards/decals!
