I agree, this car could put KIA on the map for many people. I know they are advertising the heck out of it in my area.

That car looks really nice. Is that like a sport edition or something?

They are good looking. I wonder how they perform with a few handling and power upgrades like wheels, maybe springs and a rear sway bar if possible and maybe a CAI and cat-back exhaust? Pity those are expensive upgrades for a cheap car.

Look at the wonders we have done to our XD generation cars. My car handles very well and has a more smooth power band and of course looks better than stock. You have to kinda look at the Forte the same. Looks to be a good base for modding.

I'm impressed with the Forte, looks like a nice little machine to work with and make wonderful!

Here's another picture stolen/linked from KSPEC

OK, so the Stock Forte SX has the 2.4L Theta II. Same basic setup as the GC 2.0T, the SRT-4 2.4T, the Evo X 2.0T.... all making buttloads of power. So, imagine a good intake, exhaust, header and PCM tune woudl likely put it in the 170-180whp range (being realistic and conservative). Add a good suspension under it and the fact it alerady fits 215-width tires stock and this car should be a beast in the corners with power to pull out and run hard.

I'm thinking this little thing could be a true track star.
