Overall, you have a very nice looking Elantra (although I would like to see some more pics of the interior and engine bay to rate those a little better!). I like the taillights and the painted front grill. I also like the wheels, although I think I like the car with the first set of wheels better. I rate it at about an 8-8.5. First, there is almost no car that would get a 10, because then you are saying there is nothing else to do! I also, knocked off a little for having a different driver and passenger seat. I think tinting the windows would look great (say 20%) and might be something to consider in the future. Definitely a sweet ride! thumbsup.gif

yeah i hear ya about the seats....i wanated to get another one...but my wife hates it! so look a little funny and have her comfortable or listen to her bitch everytime she gets in the car?

tint is on the way....i was waiting till i replaced my hatch...nothing like having to get it redone...no thanks...but definetly in the near future (before spring)

Interior, i'm revamping at the moment. I have to redo the Dash (black paint, instead of the crappy silver it is now) my shift boot is also trashed and falling apart. I'm hoping i can get the wife to redo it and possibly the door panels (my driverside floor mat is trashed as well.)

engine bay is nothing special...just a Cai and to be honest its quite dirty underthere...but i do have to clean it up.

Pretty nice car. I agree with Alex on the seat. The only other knocks I would have would be that the exhaust looks a bit ricey for my tastes, and I'm not a fan of re-badging. It's what you think that matters though. I'd give it a 7.

Overall... 9.0

I was going to give you a 10 for the exterior, but the muffler bought down to 9.0. Then you had your kid in the pictures, so I got you up to 9.5.

Interior is a good 8.5.

Nice set up for your system.Very clean.

I got to be honest.... I had high hopes for the tib wheels on the Elantra.... but I got to say I'm not digging it. I'll give your current setup a 7.5, clean audio, mismatched seats and the 4x4 look with the tib wheels.

Now, pre-5lug swap I have to say a 9.

Posted by: only1db Jan 13 2010, 08:36 AM

yeah well too bad my wheels were beat up and bent....and it was not worth getting them fixed. and yeah when i get new tires it will come down a little.

mismatched seats....alot of cars have them....look at racing cars! hahah and yeah when the wife says she doesnt want it...then who am i to tell her differently...she the one who sits in it...not me.
as far as the exhaust goes...its the only one that was 2.5 and its full 304 stainless steel...it sounds really nice too...a little over the top yes...but i like it
here is an engine shot...i got it cleaned up yesterday.

Great looking ride Mang! thumbsup.gif Although I preferred the dark wheels I give you a 9!

Posted by: only1db Jan 13 2010, 12:28 PM

but being bent, and having the finish come off the clear coat...they needed to go! they spent five years on the car.

Muffler and mismatched front seats definitely hurt the overall rating a bit. Overall though, a very solid GT with quality mods.

Love the "kid leaning on the back of the car" mod. Priceless. thumbsup.gif

9.1

I agree with the others, a very clean look apart from the muffler and seats. 8.0

Posted by: sarge Jan 13 2010, 08:36 PM

I'm gonna give you another 9 from the Canadian panel.
Those Tib wheels take a bit of getting use to, I think the main deal has to do with them being much closer to the edge of the car due to your spacers. But they're starting to grow on me.

Although this pic

kinda turns my stomach a bit. I think it has to do with the angle, because the back seems soo high in the air (not all things look good with the back/bottom turned up wink.gif ) That also brings your eyes to the huge pipe. If it was a smaller outlet/dual tip it wouldn't look as bad/huge. Also looks like it's on a good angle to the outer corner

All in all, I approve. I do like that lip spoiler too... What is that from?

Posted by: only1db Jan 13 2010, 09:28 PM

TC spoiler (aka Mach 1 mustang)

Posted by: sarge Jan 13 2010, 10:00 PM

I was thinking it was the Mach1. NYJustin has/had one.
