Hello and Thanks for the welcomes!
I bought a 13 Elantra Coupe GS last weekend. Looking around on different sites and forums i have noticed all these Letters and Numbers. I really hope someone can explain what they mean and Which letter number is my car? Other than that i can not wait to seek through all these threads and check out everyone's rides! I sure hope to soak up some of the information and knowledge also. Maybe just maybe i will find something that can help me with what i want to do to my car. Do you mean the chassis codes like these examples or something else? MD is the newest generation Elantra sedan and made in Korea. UD is the US manufactured version of the same car. GD is the code for the new generation Elantra GT hatchback (known as the i30 in Europe and elsewhere). --------------------  |

Yeah, those are the letters i was asking about. So my chassis would be MD even though it's a coupe??

The coupe is JK
