I was over at XD browsing and came across this that member Sed had posted up:
Does this mean that BSE should not be doing what it's doing (soliciting orders) or that YES.. they can do it, but it has not all been finalized through HARD as yet, so until HARD says yes..it's buyer beware?
Or is HARD just not gonna happen???

I know Bill was ill, and I hope he is doing better and on a positive road to recovery.
So..What's new with H.A.R.D.
Is it coming to the dealers anytime soon? I was under the impression that Canada will be first via Bills chat night awhile back, but still no one at Hyundai Canada really seems to be able to confirm or enlighten me on the arrival dates for any H.A.R.D. parts.
I know we can access the parts thru BSE, but is the dealer network still moving forward as planned?
Any news???? Please!
And any updates on Bill and his health?

It is with most regret that I have to write this review. TWM performance had a price of 134.98 for their short shifter for the elantra. The price has been the same for about 5 months or so now and last thrusday I orderd one. Then to my suprise on saturday the price was 117.98. my Package had not been shipped at that time.
I e-mailed twm and asked for the difference refunded to me. The e-mail I got back said:
"Unfortunately we can't give you a refund for the difference. It's a policy
of ours that we need to follow otherwise we'll be flooded with similar
requests. However, considering how close it was to the day you ordered I
would be willing to send you a T-shirt for free as compensation. Let me
know your size and color preference and it will be shipped out right away.
We have white, blue, navy and black."
Well the problem is they dont have a t-shirt in my size and I would rather have the money back, than a shirt advertising a company that isnt willing to help me out!
I have not gotten my package yet but i know that this unfortunite event has left a sour taste in my mouth.
Just thought this review was warrented.

Does BSE have a cat back for the Elantra and if not are there plans on producing one in the future? It would be really nice for someone to make a quality cat back for the Elantra and not just for Tibs like everyone else does ( hint, hint ).

I was looking to get my hands on some 303 Wiper Treatment pads recently. I've tried www.autogeek.net and almost fainted when I saw the $16 US shipping costs for a packet of 6 pads. I then went to the 303 website to see if I can buy it direct from them and sure enough, online purchasing was available. I ended up getting a pack of 6 WT pads and another pack of 12 WT pads; total cost, $12 CDN with shipping included!
So for any Canucks interested in getting some 303 products but don't want to pay the exorbitant shipping costs, check out the 303 website and order there directly.. Shipping took less than two weeks and the shipping costs are pretty cheap (for the WPT pads anyways)... 303 gets a two from me

I didn't know where to post this question so i thought i should just make new thread.
What BSE is doing is awesome!
And has made me want to ask the question of whether BSE is planning on shipping parts to other countries overseas? or if Hyundai is planning on shipping these parts overseas?
I'm from Australia, thats why I'm asking.
Oahhh, that Stage II turbo .... i just want it!
Dean.

Is BSE ever going to sell forged internals. It would be awesome if they could do a N/A kit to get 200HP, I saw a focus that they did that to. no turbo or nothing just N/A. then the engine should be able to handle crazy HP

Although the price list we have doesn't show it yet a performance chip is available (info and pricing to follow) and an intake and catback will be available soon according to Bill Smulo. This guy is working his butt off to assure that these are the highest quality parts available anywhere for our cars.

Looking at the list of suspension parts it appears that BSE is just putting their own label on the Eibach products. The only plus I can see is that you offer a strut for the Elantra. The downside is that you have them packaged with springs that only offer a 1" drop for $712. I would much prefer the H&R springs and Tib struts for $652 and that is RETAIL. I can actually get the Tib struts and H&R springs cheaper than that.
I guess I am really dissappointed at the pricing. Why would we buy these things when we can get the Eibach products for less elsewhere?
For example here are the prices from TireRack who is a top level vendor that offers second to none customer service. They tend to be a little bit pricey compared to some places that offer deals. There are several places that people can get far better prices than Tirerack or BSE or for that matter. Most of the comparisons below are for 03 Tib:
Struts and springs (Sportline)
BSE- $712
Tire- $470
Struts, springs and swaybars
BSE- $1095
Tire- $912
Prokit springs
BSE- $263
Tire- $246
Eibach for the Elantra
BSE- $270
Tire- $246
I believed you at first about the different spring rates, damping rates and swaybars but after seeing your list of products that exactly mimics Eibachs lineup of parts for Hyundai's I seriously doubt if they are all reengineered for BSE.

The meet at BSE was incredible! I stayed from 11:30 to 5:30. They had all of their show cars there (and to wrap up the debate, the intercooler on the yellow elantra IS hooked up). I'll post pics when I can (meaning once I figure out how). The turbo setup on the AWD V6 tibby was sick. We had an open Q&A session with Bill and HMA representatives. I know these statements aren't in logical order, but I'm excited right now. We got to go on a small tour of the facilities and they are really impressive! There were alot of cool hyundai's in the parking lot too. Anyway, it was awesome!

I have recently been in contact with a company in Florida who says that a p&p head with valve grinding would yeild 20-25 hp. Im not sure about the reliablity of those numbers yet but they seem reasonable on the surface.
Since that seems to be the best way to get the most hp in an NA application, is there any plan for a core exchange program for p&p heads?

I just wanted to mention this because this simply is not the case with all Hyundai aftermarket business owners. I say this because I'm always trying to contact aftermarket guys in reference to club stuff and I've found most to be either fairly unresponsive, or downright unreliable. It's almost like those other guys don't want to increase their business or something. I've sent letters to Shark Racing, Team-SR (who may be out of business as their domain no longer is active), PSC, Dreamka4u, KSpec, MotorImpact and SpeedState and none of them responded back.
Not so with Bill. This guy is working 18 hour days to get the BSE bandwagon going... dealing with Hyundai, legal and design issues, etc... but the guy always is friendly and takes the time to chat with me. I mean that's really amazing. Of course he believes we have a good club and are potential customers for his products but he genuinely does seem to care. Too bad other suppliers don't have the same attittude.
It's not easy getting something like BSE/HARD going no doubt about it. I believe this time a good guy will finish first and it will be a success. Chalk it up to Bill's "hard" (bad pun) work. The biggest hurdle will be cost I believe but if Bill can get things to a good price point, he has a chance to make BSE/HARD the #1 Hyundai performance supplier of choice.
Bill Rocks!

Looking for the bushings, endlinks, and nuts for the sway bar swap. Need the parts this Sunday, but don't want to pay a lot. I can have them in five days around here for about $70. I would like to do this mod this weekend if possible. Roy and I are going to both do the swap out.
Thanks, every piece of advice helps.

Hey all,
I'm a Tiburon owner here in San Diego and I have contacts with a wholesaler for the Viper 791xv alarm with remote start. I know you guys don't know me so I want to know what I can do to build some cred here. These are great alarms and I'm anxious to hook you guys up. I will be attending the big so-cal meet at BHE on the 19th. If any of you are going to be there I would love to check out your rides and let you check out mine. Back to the alarm here's the link:
http://www.directed.com/security/viper/vip...onder.asp#791XVThese are top of the line, and brand new in the box. Let me know if there is any interest. The price will be $285 shipped (U.S.) and if there are at least 10 members interested I will drop the price to $275. thanks all - Henry
