I have a 2003 Elantra GT Sedan, last week my Radio just stopped working, no power at all. I tried replacing the 10Amp Audio Fuse, as well as a couple others like cig lighter just in case. Still my Radio wont turn on.

Does anyone know what else I can do to try and fix this??

I swear I am so desperate I will send $20 Via Paypal to anyone who can help me fix this. (I'm 2 hours from a Car Audio shop)

Is it aftermarket or original? If it's aftermarket, I would say it's either a wire (most likely ground) that worked itself loose from a sub-par install, or blown fuse on the back of the radio.

Ya I just checked a youtube video on how to pull out the dash/radio. I think im going to wait until I can find someone with a voltage tester, that way if its not a loose wire I can check for power while I got the dash out.

Just curious where is the fuse located on the back of the stock radio?

Check the cigarette lighter. If it works then most likely there is power to the radio.
It isn't certain. Only and indicator.
Voltage tester?? You mean a multi-meter??
They are cheap at radio shack or harbor frieght

From the wiring diagram, there are two wires with power
One from the battery, hot all the time, to keep radio stations and programs set
Second from the ignition, hot when in accessory or run
The radio seems to have an internal fuse.

If you're willing to pull the unit out, I second the idea of getting a cheap multimeter and checking if you have power at the radio. Have a look at the radio harness pinout here and check you get 12v between the ACC/ON and ground pins with the accessories turned on.

Does the radio light up when you turn your headlights on?
