Great deal on a nice looking model. I'm hearing more and more about people liking it.
and finally there are some decent pictures of it out there, not making it look so out of proportions. *now if only that price was CDN $ as well.... -------------------- carPC Build Thread | My Elantra Site | My Fiero Site | My WebSite | Donate here to keep ElantraClub online and growing. |

That's a compelling package for the price.

That is a great deal. A couple tweaks on the back end and the car is 100% a winner. I already really like the front and side angle. The back is just ok though, but for that price, not too shabby!

I know,I know I am making a statement that quite a few here may not like...............I personally love the Touring, I have a company demo that I ordered as my regular driver in Red with all the bells and whistles. It has enough power to make it thru my wild *ss driving. I notice no bad suspension rolls, no drifting on highways at speeds around 80~90. Suspension is very solid and not soft. You all should really drive it for at least 50 ~ 60 miles before passing judgments!. I agree the HD definitely NEEDS some help in the suspension department!! My regular driver was an Azera limited black, then I have the Genesis Sedan V8 with technology package. So what I am saying is the Touring is a nice car, drive it for a longer test drive and then your minds will change.
Mods that the Touring is capable of accepting: lowered suspension bigger tires or smaller profile exhaust headers muffler modifications intake modifications engine tuner mods. NONE of these will affect the PCM's capability. We now offer an open program for tuners to play with on the Touring, Sonata 2.4 thetaII (Genesis Coupe 4cyl Turbo and the Genesis Coupe V6 ONLY on the Track versions) -------------------- I thaw a putty tat..............I did..........I did.......

So what I am saying is the Touring is a nice car, drive it for a longer test drive and then your minds will change. Agreed. After three long-distance road trips, I have to say the Touring matches the Volvo V50 for comfort. It's never mushy. The suspension and steering rival that of mid-size sedans like the Camry and Altima. And the seats are almost perfect for a tall driver like myself (I'm 6'3"). Drive a VW Rabbit 5-door and an Elantra Touring and you'll think they were designed by the same team (and I mean that in a good way). We now offer an open program for tuners to play with on the Touring, Sonata 2.4 thetaII Do share !!! -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Should I need a replacement in the foreseeable future and or when the time comes and the GT is ready to be put down, I think I can see one of these in the drive, unless of course Hyundai decides to bring the hatch here to the states, then it's a no brainer. -------------------- To Helena Handbasket! |

Sorry, but a Touring WILL not be in my driveway. A Gen 2.0t Track will hopefully sit beside my Elantra when she is paid off.

I haven't driven one, but figure it's slower and not quite as nimble as a Mazda3s from all the reviews, but it's got it's own advantages. The Elantra GT wasn't as nimble as the Protege either, but....
