Most I ever paid for gas was in Windsor after Hurricane Katrina:
$1.55 per liter (which at the time with conversion was $7.61 per Gallon!!!) -------------------- Come mothers and fathers / Throughout the land And don't criticize / What you can't understand Your sons and your daughters / Are beyond your command Your old road is / Rapidly agin'. Just gassed up the Subaru a few minutes ago, $3.059/gallon for 87 octane, but for some reason Tarboro is always 10-15¢ cheaper than bigger surrounding towns like Rocky Mount, Greenville or even Raliegh.

Every time people start comparing gas prices it freaks me up
You have to keep in mind that the transportation systems are different in Europe/Russia and in the USA/Canada. They have TRAINS! Subways, buses. So driving a car at some point is a luxury Here it is a necessarily, we don't have public transportation except buses that ride once in a hour. On the other note... I read an article saying that by spring we will have to pay $4.5 per gallon here .... -------------------- '05 GLS hatch, K&N air filter, evofusion front strut bar, 19mm rear bar, tinted windows.

lucky me I live by the cheapest gas station in the state, 76 is @ $3.03 Regular. But most stations around are at $3.11. Well hopefully we don't see that $4.5 per gallon next spring. At least not until I can get my hands on one of those hydrogen rotary cars from Mazda.

I read an article saying that by spring we will have to pay $4.5 per gallon here .... Amen to that! I would LOVE to ride on public transportation to work. There are only three problems: 1. It would take an hour and a half when my commute via car is one hour. 2. Price of train/subway/parking costs more than the gas. 3. They don't even offer train service at the time I need it. Oh well, I really don't mind driving to tell you the truth! -------------------- 19 mm sway bar, easy intake mod with K&N filter, Pioneer DEH P4800MP, DC Strut Bar, Brushed Aluminum Dash Kit. |

Just letting you guys and gals know that in Tasmania, Australia, fuel has hit $1.48 AUD per litre, which would make a gallon about $5.60 AUD, roughly about $4.95 U.S. That is for our 91 RON.

I Like de-badging, kinda like when a chick shaves her" AREA" SMOOTHER IS BETTER!! -True words of member EGT4ME There's no such thing as a "perfect car". All cars are good for a period of time. Then they either break down or just get boring, and you want something else. It's like chicks. No matter how hot she looks, always remember....there's some guy out there who's sick of her sh!t. |

Hey elantragt, yeah I do think that our 91 ron is about the same as your 87 octane. We don't really have a lot of choice here. 91 RON ULP and Premium 95 RON ULP. The premium is about 8 cents/litre dearer. There are Fuel Stations bringing in Ethanol based fuel which is supposed to be the same octane as Premium but is cheaper than 91 RON.
