2013 hyundai elantra, Brand new car, i love it! Options

I just bought the new elantra GT and i love it! The car is so smooth and quick. For the size of engine it has its pretty fast with nice pickup. Im looking to do a few mods to it but i was wondering if itll void any of my warrenties? Like lowering and an exhaust system.

Please let me know what websites i can get some parts off

Welcome and congrats on the GT! First, for a listing of some aftermarket companies, take a look at our wiki article here. There are links to several different sites that carry some parts. Be aware that some of the parts listed could have to ship from Korea so there will be some shipping time. Right now there aren't a ton of parts for the GT with it being so new. The GT is based on the 2012+ i30 sold elsewhere so some of the parts or accessories for the i30 will work for the GT. Also, the engine on the US GT is the same as the MD elantra so items like a CAI that work for a MD elantra will also work in the GT.

In regards to voiding the warranty, take a glance at the Moss-Magnuson Warranty act. Basically it protects consumers from a manufacturer voiding a warranty because the consumer used an aftermarket product. In short, if you put a new suspension on your car and your electrical system stops working they can't void your warranty on the electrical system just because you put new springs on. That being said you would have a tough time getting them to cover anything related to the suspension components (shocks/struts/etc) under warranty if you started playing around with components of it. Make sense?
