I have a friend with a 6 cylinder mistubishi motor in his dodge, and it has gotten me to thinkin; could one fit in an XD? I have looked into it, and there are many different sizes (1.6L - 3.0L (and maybe more?..)) and I was wondering if;

A: Anyone knows if any of these engines would fit.

and

B: What kind of result do you think I could see?

I ask about a mitsubishi engine because I know that the tibby v6 doesn't really net you too much. I also know that the upgrade opportunities are much more abbundant on a mitsu engine rather than a tibby engine.

I had seen the 6a12tt, and I was curious about it. Think it would fit?? And does it have true dual or sequential turbos?

(I used a quick source to find a couple mitsubishi engines - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_6A1_engine)

What about a turbo 6G72?

its a pair of small turbos each fed by a bank of 3 cylinders. no idea if it will fit.

the 6g72 i believe is bigger...

Doing a swap like this is just a waist of time........

But if you want to do something crazy i think the 3.3l Lamba would be a cool swap. A few peolpe have done the delta swap and its cool but i think a 3.3 or even 3.8l would be killer.

I was thinking of the 6G72 because it would have been easier to get, though I might have to look into a lambda engine now... Leaning towards the Lambda II GDi.

I know that a swap may not be the easiest or cheapest solution, but my engine is not very healthy, and I really want to get a lot more power that includes many avenues of off the shelf upgrades. These qualities do not come in the beta motor.

Or I could just go with this. http://www.autoblog.com/2013/11/05/hyundai...engine-program/

custom mounts, trans swap, custome shortened axle/shaft... harness n sensors...

fitment aint the problem... but its only impossible until someone does it...

if u have time and drive... i say do it... honestly i dont see why one would take
a v6 over an i4 in a fwd car.... but if you must, supercharged deltas FLYYYY

Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon.
