Hey guys just wondering if someone could help me out with a schematic, I want to install a rear hatch release button inside the car but need a schematic for the one that is located on the car now, im hoping to find a connecter inside the car to tap into it there. Thanks

Doesn't your hatch unlock with the doors? If it's like other Hyundai hatchbacks, it operates like a door, not like a sprung trunk lid. Are you looking to trigger the solenoid for only the hatch lock?

Hey-I think you're wanting to be able to "pop" the hatch from inside the car like you can with the sedan trunk lid. I don't know if that's possible. I like not having that feature on my GT. It prevents someone from getting into the back thru the hatch without permission, so to speak.

Its possible, Im just going to tap into the existing wires so you wont be able to open it unless the hatch is unlocked. I found the wire just have to add the switch inside the cab. When snow and ice build up on the back bumper its hard to get your hand in there to open it. So if I add the interior button It wont matter.
